I guess it all depends where you start it and for what reason. In the meantime I've truly enjoyed reading yours. And by the way...love the picture.bbw1957https://www.blogger.com/profile/17163360313053521003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-30870845718500245432008-03-07T03:39:00.000+09:002008-03-07T03:39:00.000+09:00Good post. I have no themes at all. I never have. I don't do meme's on my blog; it's not what people come to my blog for so I don't want to diminish it with those. Now I do go to certain blogs for certain things. Places like Serena's blog and Matt-man's blog are very interative experiences. They have more emphasis in comments than in the actual posts. I always read all their comments too. Others give me things I don't do with my own blog. I go to mattress police each week for his caption contest but I feel like it's not him that is creating that; it's all those that participate and that in reality, that steals away several days of potentially good original material he could be doing. I'm willing to overlook that though because the captions people come up with are very creative and entertaining. But the typical, journal style blog posts about what I did today, what I ate, what I thought...uggh. I don't like cut and paste blogs but I do bookmark some video ones because my kids enjoy the videos; but it's not something I seek out daily. Everybody has an interesting twist in style and originality and I decide what I'm in the mood for on any particular day and then I do seek it out.Ed & Jeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00730956006290504616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-31464844283381055492008-03-07T00:38:00.000+09:002008-03-07T00:38:00.000+09:00There are theme blogs I noticed...Mine is a random...There are theme blogs I noticed...

Mine is a random blog about this & that & I also like playing around with stereotypes at times.

What I like is a debate or a discussion or a critical appreciation that follows the writing of a creative piece !Monahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08615034229525061880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-54925182649204564802008-03-06T10:55:00.000+09:002008-03-06T10:55:00.000+09:00Great photo. I'm a writer by trade, so there's only so long I can go before I gotta start yapping again.moihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07824043795171732429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-87292588875754098542008-03-06T04:36:00.000+09:002008-03-06T04:36:00.000+09:00I didn't realize there were blog themes. I've done a meme or two and that stretched my outside limit.

I like the picture too. I can't quite figure out the chart behind you. You look contemplative.

My own blog is a mess. The angrier I am inside, the sillier I am on the post. Posting is cathartic for me. I get engrossed in the silly post and I laugh myself. I wish I could score higher than elementary school level on my blog. That's embarrassing and I won't post that little jpeg. My pride is my hubris. I even thought about collecting up some $5 words (not story) and listing them in an entry to see if I can get myself out of elementary school. Then I think how pretentious. Is that what this blog (and really me) are made of? Umm, yeah.Corn Doghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00747361708585377105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-50676993157847276942008-03-06T03:15:00.000+09:002008-03-06T03:15:00.000+09:00Love the photo. I've read quite a few blogs and there are some I keep going back to all the time - they are those of people with what seems to me a genuine voice - whether they are writing about gummy bears or holidays or mental illness...I like the voice. Sometimes the voice comes in art...and I like that too...but eventually I guess I need some words here and there. Else, I feel too distant.

Right now words are best saved for other peoples comment boxes. I'm not sure why. Some of it is that I have to be careful about what I say but some of it is that hmmm...its not that I have nothing to say...its just...hmmm...I'm seeing things differently. So I like to show what I see.

Makes no sense I know. But the theme blogs...well...I pop in only to say hi to the person. Most themes bore me after awhile.

But I do like green monsters for some reason :)

xx
pinksPinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14002817889549140522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21698605.post-90021133020025490582008-03-06T02:53:00.000+09:002008-03-06T02:53:00.000+09:00I've tried going the theme route just because it's...I've tried going the theme route just because it's easy. It doesn't last, though, for the simple reason that my mind leaps from one thing to another without any warning; e.g., if I want to talk about the sexual practices of zombies on a "poetry day," I'm going to go with the zombie sex.

And may I just say that I really like your photo today?
