I am glad that you are reborn!

Clean slate of mind, let me form some impressions there...

Don't eat meat
Keep away from flirting
Keep away from alcohol
Pray a lot
You are Mona's slave
Do her bidding!

hehehehe!

That's the only law of Anton LaVey's Church of Satan. Congratulations on your conversion, brother.

I am a highly medicated and extremely overtired geek. I swear, I saw this and immediately thought of Lord British.

*sighs deeply at self*

I get it now though, and ... I wish I felt it too... Maybe though, I'm in a weird purge state these days...

Thanks, I shall.
Quite the refreshing post.

I'm going to pretend I understand.

Too much pressure - it's late and I have nothing of import to add.

"I'll be your tabula rasa
Scrawl on me as you please
I'll be your blank slate, mama,
But I won't make no guarantees"

It must have been my computer, all I saw was a blank, black nothing. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Mona~ Not reborn. Blank like the space between words rather than the words themselves.

The slave part sounds delightful, but you expect me to give up all of the vices I posses. Too high a price.

Grant~ Man, I've been married twice. I could lead a church of satan worshippers. Heck! I could be a tour guide in hell.

Allan~ I'm sure you can, And still tap out a rhythm while you do.

Lime~ Squiggles

JGrrrl~ I am not sure who Lord Brittish is, but I do hope that you are feeling better, much better today.

Beth~ You are welcome.
Not as refreshing as a week in Hawaii though.

Kurt~ Me too.

Citizen~ No pressure. Do what you can when you can. Just make sure you lace it with humour.

Czar~ Thanks for coming by. Like the stanza. Where is it from?

JBG~ If I didn't think you were serious I would be rolling with laughter.

Megan~ Ahhhhhh.

Self-authored, actually, and there's no more to it. My creative period was short indeed.

NYD said...

Short it might have been, yet it was well stated.

Man...the pressure!

I wish that I could clear my mind for a few moments like a blank slate...too much stress lately!

NYD said...

Spin~ There's always Google.

VE~ The pressure is within you.

Thursnext~ Forget it! You are way too obsessed with the prince.

Blank spaces in between...

You mean the gaps...

The world is changing continuously and life is a process. In fact Life & death cannot be defined, it is a flux phenomenon. if you are seeking for truth in this changing world, in these distractions of your being, you will be frustrated.
Move within, go into the Gaps where neither the world exists nor the body nor the mind. there for the first time you come face to face with eternity, which has no beginning, no end, no change in it.
Things have two states: manifest and unmanifest.
When your mind is a clean slate, you are neither manifest nor unmanifest. You are just a witness.
Through the gaps between two thoughts you will have the first glimpse of witnessing. Then go on piling up these gaps, and always remember, whenever two gaps are there, they become one, just like two emptinesses, just like two zeros , they become one. You bring in a thousand & one zeros together & they become one. So you go on piling up these gaps, zeros of being & by & by, you become, what is called samadhi : a state when all distractions disappear and one pointedness arises in your being.
it is the first glimpse of who you are, beyond, the game of creation ( birth) and uncreation ( death). You are just a witness, & that consciousness is your being. You acieve Unio Mystica : the mystic union with yourself. & then you realize that you have become one with the Whole.

I hate smart alecky guys and that was a smart alecky post!!

It took me more than 30 seconds to realize what the blank page meant.

Ugh! *storms off feeling stupid*

NYD said...

Ming, You are awesome!!

Mona~ You sure can make much ado about my nothingness.

I wish. Sometimes my mind goes blank when I sleep. Or when I'm listening to a politician speak. Otherwise, bizzy, bizzy brain.

NYD said...

Grunt~ Grunty is as Grunty does.

S.J.~ I figure everybody needs a break from work or life, right?

Moi~ Once you get your assignments behind you and all the editing done you'll be able to kick back and write for fun instead of money.

Then again writing for cash ain't too bad either.

I LOVE it! This is your best work yet!

I have to admit it...you have to be pretty creative to come up with nothing and put it out there. It's a risk, but I think it worked.
