We are seeing some really large wheels turning these days, not only in America, but all over the world. I reckon we ain't quite finished with our economic woes.
It doesn't make sense to me to go pointing fingers and assigning blame. We are all, in one way or another, partly responsible for the present situation. It's a little childish to be angry at folks if you allowed them free reign to cause trouble then act surprised when they do. This shitstorm has been building for a long time and if you didn't notice it or didn't care, well...
That's not to say that those who acted irresponsibly should receive amnesty for their actions. They certainly shouldn't be rewarded either. I have no answers that will satisfy everyone's sense of justice. That is not very surprising for we all have developed vastly different ideas of what is just or not.
I think it's better to concentrate on lighter things. I like to do stupid things, always have. Give me half a reason and I just might run with it like a zombie after some fresh brains. Living in Japan gives me regular access to Japanese women (that makes sense, right?) which in turn affords me the opportunity to brighten a certain blogger's life. Actually I am giving this gift to Grant as an excuse to go out and do silly stuff. We both get something good out of it: Bunnies for him and collisions for me You wouldn't believe the things I say to people to get them to do things for me. Then again, maybe you would...
Them that's got shall get
Them that's not shall lose
So the Bible said and it still is news
Mama may have, papa may have
But God bless the child that's got his own
That's got his own
Yes, the strong gets more
While the weak ones fade
Empty pockets don't ever make the grade
Mama may have, papa may have
But God bless the child that's got his own
That's got his own
Money, you've got lots of friends
Crowding round the door
When you're gone, spending ends
They don't come no more
Rich relations give
Crust of bread and such
You can help yourself
But don't take too much
Mama may have, papa may have
But God bless the child that's got his own
That's got his own
Mama may have, papa may have
But God bless the child that's got his own
That's got his own
He just worry bout nothin
Cause he's got his own
Billy Holiday must have known that we would need this song. She sang it like it was supposed to stick around and help us out with things. That's the way I see it. Say! That's an idea sticking around and helping instead of bailing out on others

You posted that photo a little bit for me, too, right? Cause your gal? She be tres, tres chic – love the mix of glitter and suede.
As you know, I'm a raging machine against our government. I simply will not go quietly into that fascist good night. But that doesn't mean I won't have some fun along the way.
Peace.
Moi~ I have delivered the girl for everyone's happy making. I am the misplaced pimp and I have a whole lot of babes to deliver.
Keep fighting the bastids, my dear. Those fuckers need people, real people to keep them in line. Too bad we waited till the shit hit the fan to raise a stink.
Bunny!
Like all things, I think the financial crisis could be solved with the proper application of violence. If I were allowed to kill the right people, we would stop seeing these giant golden parachutes. But since I'm no longer in the military, when I kill people society acts like I've crossed some "line".
Grant~ First bunny, my friend, only the first.
Collecting these gals is kinda fun. Many folks here in Japan now believe something that you have already known for a long time: You are a hero!
Cutting thye ropes on the gold parachutes would make watching the descent a lot more exhilarating.
Things do go round in circles! Strange how you & me say the same thing in our respective posts this time!
Jinx ! You owe me a coke!
I am imagining a real shit storm & laughing my ass off here! :D
Just imagine, shit flying around & attaching itself SPLAT! on all that moves!
Yea you are right! Democracy gives people exactly the kind of government that they deserve!
You grant a wish to grant? How sweet of you !
All to blame? Not me. I'm proud of my financial inactivity during the past 8-years.
