Hey, I got it first image, too! So, uhm, I have a question. Is that urinal built into the floor? If so, uhm, how do you prevent splash back? Just, you know, the first thing that struck me me. Oh, and the snow photo is beautiful! Happy MM!

Ha! What a natural theme fer ya NYD!

Moi~ Um that urinal thing is what most of us Gajin call a Squatty Potty. Perfect for those of you who like to hover in public places.

Aunty Belle~ In all honesty, in order to live in another country that has a completly different culture and logic than the one you were raised with, a good understanding of Monty Python's Flying Circus is essential.

Amd now for something completley different.

My parents were married in Japan (1955) and their pictures were all in black/white, so I'm enjoying the color. Beautiful country, beautiful people. My Mother was homesick and when she became pregnant with my sister, insisted they come home. My Dad? He could have stayed forever.

Happy MM!

We have a tv show in Australia about a guy called Kenny. He is a character whose job it is to install porta loo's at public events. The tv show was spurned from a very successful movie, or at least it was successful here. He visited Japan and highlighted what big business toilets are over there. It was hilarious.

Happy Mute Monday.

Ah. Now, "Squatty Potty" is going to replace "867-5309" as the refrain playing in Moi's head all day. Thanks for that.

I can't help but question the apparent poor grasp on American history over there. Grant at best was a mediocre President, and certainly not worthy of public displays of affection.

I wish some of the people at work today were mute.
