Different Strokes.

Today was a pretty good day
even if Crispy did beat my score.

My Mute Monday's are almost never silent. Give me half a chance and I will yammer and jaw and bend your ear for what seems like an eternity. Golf is something different for me. When I play I don't do a lot of talking, in fact I don't much like it when the folks around me are yap, yap, yapping.
Being out on the greens leave me with a similar feeling as when I go hiking, campingsnowboarding. I love to hear the sounds of nature; the wind rustling the leaves, birdsong and the bubbling sound of flowing water.
I have seen so many different and wonderful things on my forays into the forested land that I wish I could share with you, but as you well know it is the intangables that leave the deepest marks upon the soul. You just have to be there to get it.

Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time

How nice. Looks like you and Crispy have been enjoying life together. I love the shot from the green's eye view.

Most excellent.

Excellent pics, indeed. Is Crispy trying to compensate for a hook with that stance?

Happy Mute Monday!

Cool MM! Is this course there in Japan or did you play during your recent hiatus in the States? Happy Mute Monday to you!

Ah! with scenes so pastoral, one wants to write an Elegy!

Having a good time teeing off I see?
Nice to see! :)

Leelee~ It's one of the few chances we get to relax. I will have to try and find my way down to your corner of the world to play around, I mean "A" round.

Kate~ No one evere considers what games are like for the balls. They take a lot of punishment fer our enjoyment.

Thank you Searabbit. I will pop on over to see what you have done with this.

Troll, baby. With a stick in her hand and a couple of balls, the Crispy one is magic . Keeps it straight everytime

Moi~This is our local stomping grounds, but we like to play when we traveltoo.

Gypsy~ Thanks for coming by. It would have been better if someone would get the damn sandboxes of the field.

Mona~ When I start a round I am in a fabulous mood, but by the 18th hole, an elegy is occasionally required. That and a moment of silence while I bury my scorecard.

VE~ Tried that once, but she kept insisting on throwing the game.

Looks like you two have a great time together, whatever you're doing. And you're a great sport when she happens to beat you. It's all in good fun, right?:)

I've been getting out more into the mountains and it has really been nice to experience those intangibles.

Great shots. Oh ya baby. Golf is a zen experience - well - my game is usually a lot better if I just relax and try to be the ball. Or the hole. Or the grass. Or just errrr relax.

I LOVE that last sentence. You are a poet!

Everything is within walking distance if you have the time...fantastic.

HEY NYD

Glad you got some time off. Finally got a chance to peek at the blog and saw Crispy enjoying herself. She really needed the play time too. So what was your handicap? Hmmm?

BTW, did you ever get those missing weights?

Peace... JG

Your putting technique is quite incorrect, grasshopper.
