Sacrifice.

Delayed gratification. Someone much wiser than me once told me that you often have to give up the thing you want most in life, so you can recieve more of it later. I've tried it and it doesn't always work. I have given plenty of time to my business in order to aquire more free time for myself to be able to study and improve my life. That hasn't worked so far. The school sucks up my energy like a black hole and I don't seem to be getting any closer to my objective.

Now what I want is a digital camera, a good one. My camera, camera broke quite a few years ago and the cost of fixing it was too prohibitive, so I just settled for using disposable ones when travelling and later, the crappy ones that come with a cell phone. Now my phone camera has gotten better, but it's still not good enough to do the job. You can see that by looking at the pictures in my last post.

So here's the rub. I have to give up something to be able to afford the payments on the toy, (let's face it, if you don't need it to survive than it's a toy) and it's come down to two things; Alcohol or tobacco. I ain't giving up both-we all need some kind of vice.

why give up anything? Have your cake and eat it too!!
Those pics were taken with a phone??
Pretty darn good if you ask me.

Me thinks you have already made your choice。The question is not which vice you will decide to give up , but whether you can refrain from them long enought o pay for the toy. How many drinks did you have last night and how many butts did you smoke?

The smoking will kill you faster. What kind of lifespan you shooting for, NYD?

I must agree with Grunt. I know smokers have to pay an arm and a leg (and their unborn child) for a carton. The booze will only kill you faster if you're doing 90 on the highway with a fifth of JD in your hand. Good Luck!
