Wastin Time I just don't have

For the past two days I have been trying to figure out the code in my blog. I wanted to add some bells and whistles but all I came up with was a lot of badly tuned instruments played by musicians with a tin ear.

I am pretty sure that you can sometimes spend too much time trying to tweak tings to make getting around more fun and exciting. The daily grind can always use a new coat of paint; or so I thought. It's all too easy to make things worse by trying to make them easier. Eventually you find that you have to go back and fix all the things that you added, then cleaning up the mess that going backwards entails takes up even more time.

The art of keeping things simple is one thing that I would really like to perfect. It'd be nice if I could streamline things and be able to have enough hours in the day to do something besides trying to earn a buck.
Someone very close to me (And some of you, too.) once told me that: "sacrifice is the greatest donation you can make to a person, cause or ideal. Just make sure that you truly understand what you are giving up when you relinquish that gift."

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. ~Confucius

I do myself strive for simplicity in most areas of my life. It's worth working towards.

Yeah, I believe this. I once built a guitar amplifier and it sounded best in it's most simple form. Well, I had to keep adding things and now it just sounds like it can do tricks. But it does not sound as sweet as it did.

Well said and a rightous qoute there, Leelee.

Grunt~ After litening to the CD's you sent the Monster, I am pretty sure that the amp could do whatever you wanted it to do.

Code is anathema to me. That's a gorgeous picture, though.:)

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to look up "anathema" Serena. I had never heard that word before...CURSES!! ;-)

I can't say that I enjoy code, but I believe the results are pretty cool.

The pic is of a huge tree that's across the river from my school. It's so damnned impressive that they built the road around the thing rather than cutting it down.

The only code I've ever really enjoyed is The DaVinci Code. And that's only because I found out that Jesus was getting his groove on. I heard a rumor that in the NEXT installment, Dan Brown reveals why they all sat on the same side of the table.

puerileuwaite ~ "Jesus getting his groove on." I like the way that plays in my head.

Crn Dog~ It snows like Pringles here. I need a dog sled just to get down to the local market.
