Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time...

I am sitting here wracking my brains and futilely attempting to straighten out the twisted ball of twine that is my mind.
I wonder if you can relate to what I am saying here.
Have you ever wrestled over a post because it just didn't sit right with the way you imagined it to be?
That's been my problem since I got back from my travels. Morning or night, drunk, sober
impassioned and sang froid, I just cannot make the damned thing come out right.
Rewriting has spawned three other drafts- variations on a theme- and I figure they will carry the same genetic make up as the progenitor thereby causing me even more restless hours.
I haven't been able to figure out how to complain about life without sounding like a whiny bastard. It seems kinda petty and selfish to worry about the things that are irking me when there is a whole lot of bad shit happening to a whole lot of other people.
Most of the time I am only truly concerned with what's happening in my little corner of the world. That's when I have to whip out the Joe Cocker and listen to what he says about friends.

maybe you shouldn't try to untwist it. maybe you should bat it around like a cat would.

but joe cocker is a good call too.

Lime may well be correct. Bat it around for awhile...and know that whatever comes of it, friends don't judge.

Lime is wise.

The good thing about blogging is that you are not required to maintain any form of consistency. I was posting a series of critiques of management styles, then my mind wandered off and started doing other stuff. If you're stuck, try posting pictures of hot Asian women until your mind lurches forward, or until I have time to masturbate to them - whichever comes first.

Or, you know, the Beatles.

When I'm uncertain about a post I just let it ride in my head for a while - it always sorts itself out without any real intervention from me. (I say this, having just posted one of the silliest posts since I stated. So you might not want to listen to me.)

I always have some key words in my mind. Then I construct my posts around them. The trick is to mark a point and make a perfect round circle around it. That way you are never going to miss the aim.

Lime~ Good call. I'll print out a hard copy, scrunch it into a ball and let the cat at it.

JJ~ Friends, hmmmmmm. Got to get me some of those.

Megan~ She sure is! I only allow the wise to enter my home.

Grant~ I don't need to post pitures of Asian hotties. That's why I visit your blog.

Citizen~ I've always preferred Joe's version.
Letting things ferment seems like a good idea.

Sounds like a minor burnout... It'll pass hun, just have faith in yourself and hey - vent if/when you need to. I think everyone here would agree that we're your friends in our sense and we care so its not like you're being a pity hound... just don't come apart, you're good.

You need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior. After that things will be clearer.

Whoa..oaky, well, thang is, seems to Aunty, taht ever'body gits an occasional "slough of despond". An' some gits a slew of sloughs.

It ain't whinin' lessen ya make a habit of it. YOu ain't the type. So, go ahead, spit it out.

I noticed this--when it's near to time to make a momentous change of direction or course correction, heh--we all of a sudden notice the "little" thangs thas' wrong wif' Life As It IS Now. It is jes'a prelude to detachin' ya from what won't serve in the new set up.

Be of good cheer, Sugar.

...or you can start at the very center with one word & spin a beautiful web around it, just like a spider (chelicerate arthropod) & let the circle grow wider & wider ( as you wish it to reach, there is no limit to that) & then you can easily entrap your readers.

Ps> please point out what you failed to comprehend in my post & I can teach you about it, you pedagogue.

Feel like I have lots to whine about these days. Of course I suppose it's nothing compared to the financial crisis they're experiencing in Iceland.
