Late in the Evening...

There are a lot of people all over the world who are sharing emotions right now... Some of are feeling happiness and bliss and others are engaged in argument and anger. There are the supplicants, searching for an answer or some kind of divine interference and there are those like me... People who are feeling the unbearable burn; who are looking for solace. People and friends and neighbors who just didn't have the sense or foresight to avoid a Brioschi battle in the middle of the night.

My experimenting with cooking and an attempt at an eclectic mix of western and Asian style of food preparation has gone awry.

Thai curries are unforgiving!!!!!

Tonight I have heartburn and an agony that is unmatched by any other except for those of you who ate at the local Burrito stand, but it is the morrow I fear and I hear the voice of Johnny Cash in the back of my mind foreseeing my future.

The Taste Of Love Is Sweet
When Hearts Like Ours Meet
I Fell For You Like A Child
Oh,But The Fire Went Wild
Nah' ain't gettin maudlin yet, but I sure do have a a lot of limbo room...

I will be visiting soon.

I would like to be one of those people sharing happiness and bliss with a loving man but after having had my heart broken more than once I have decided to give up on finding that special person ...
I am sorry to read that you are still hurting, though of course I am not at all surprised, it takes a long time to get over the pain, so many sleepless nights and sad love songs seem to amplify the sadness in your heart and mind.
Try and stay away from the spicy foods for a while they only add to the physical discomfort.
I hope you begin to feel a little better soon. xoxoxo ♥

So far I've been lucky making Amasian foods. My Tex-Mex-Jap-Thai-Chinese chili is the best, and doesn't cause the flaming sharts.

There are many kinds of heartburn - may you find solace for each and every one.
The heartburn from certain foods? My God, that can be absolutely brutal.

I've never had heartburn except while pregnant. That's one of the reasons the offspring is an only child.

(Um, it's not the main reason, of course. But it's up there.)

Oh, God, heartburn is the bane of my existence. Curry is anathema to me.:-) There is, alas, but one solace: a cocktail of over-the-counter Zantac and a Pepto Bismol tablet, with an Alka-Seltzer chaser. Bottoms up!:)

I never seem to have problems with foods, but then I really don't eat super-spicy foods.

As for love - well, I don't even know about the concept of finding just the right person anymore. But love - that I've never given up in.

Thai curries: use the jars of Roland curry, add coconut milk, and you're good to go.

Are you off again?

How's the heartburn?

I've had a recent bout of the heartache too. I remind myself that time heals. The question is how much time. I read somewhere that those who are extroverted get over it sooner. Too bad I'm an introvert.

Spicy foods might work, but I find exercise tends to help more than chili.

Hang in there, my friend.

I realise that the source of much suffering in the universe is the mistaken belief that whatever state we are in is permanent.

how are you, dear NYD?

would love to hear from you...eloquent or not.
