Mute Monday: Favorite Desktop Views.

I like my world to reflect my feelings. No. That's not quite correct. I like my surroundings to empathize with my emotions and help me to succeed in my endeavors instead of working against my psyche and contributing to the confusion. Since I do an awful amount of work on my computer I find myself changing the wallpaper to suit my needs. The paper I'm using now but didn't publish is a total eclipse of the sun. I like it because it forces me to realize that light can be obscured yet still be there if we look for it in the right way. One must also be careful not to go blind by looking directly into the sun.

that's a whole lot of pretty things to look at. Groucho looks especially winsome. A good way to start the morning.

The Hindenburg shot is always terrifying.

You took a photo of Bogart and Tom Waits? Wow, you got around! The daisies were a nice spring shot.

Widget test okay=>

Grunt~ Yes, it is. But it's good to look upon it and think of the horrors of the man-made world and the highs of Plant, Page, Jones & Bonham. That gets the Juices flowing

VE~ Getting the shots of Bogart and Groucho wer a little difficult. I had to power up the camers with a mocrowave oven and my instant coffee maker to travel back in time.

The daisy shot is from my farm

Corn Dog~ Yesssssssssss! My widget is working just fine.

I never change my wallpaper, but now I'm thinking it's actually a good idea. I like the daisies.

Lime~ Thank you. Those just happen to be my own.

Anon-B~ I need to change the wallpaper. It's kinda like rearranging furniture. It gives me a feeling of refreshment.

Thursdaynext~ While Bacall was incredibly lovely, she was just one in a long line of Humphry's gals.

SJ~ Shweeeet!

Purdy pictures, but I'm still back there with all those Ps, amazed not only at your skill at using them, but also at just how many words there actually are in the English language. Like, even the Danes, a relatively progressive modern society, only have about one word to our every five.

The 4th picture scares me. What is it, a Japanese Port-a-Potty?

Things I do.

It's been said, By John Donne (and I'm sure that we could include the women folk in this phrase) that; "No man is an island&quo...
