I Just Can't Do What I Want To Do!

I Just Can't Say What I Want To Say!
I would love to tell you about my recent trip.
I Just Can't Show What I Want To Show!
I think that there are quite a few pictures you might want to see.
I Just Can't Escape When I Want To Escape!
I'm back at work and I don't wanna be there.
I Just Can't Imbibe All I Want To Imbibe!
I ate and drank a whole lot more than is good for me.
I Just Can't Do What I Want To Do!
So I guess I'll have to wait until the opportunity arises and I get the chance to tell you.

I Just Cant Seem To Get Back On Track!
But I promise I'll do my best to return real soon!

You know it was a good trip if you can't get back on track. Otherwise; it wasn't long enough or interesting enough.

Visiting the old stomping grounds could be a bit nostalgic and maybe going back to the places you know so well will leave you wanting more, but then understanding why you left might help you get past the feeling of being overwhelmed and tired of the every day stuff you have now. Look back and explore to find that happiness that drew you to your present residential location. It's the same with marriage, when it becomes stale and overwhelming, look back to what attracted you to her or him in the first place, go back to those times and rekindle that love you thought you lost. It only takes a memory, and that's less than a moment of anyone's time. Remember, be happy with what you have, enjoy life in it's fullest, for that moment is only a moment and nothing lasts forever.
I do hope you find that happiness and the serenity that drew you to where you are now. Your writings in the past have focused on such happiness. I'd like to see it again. Can't wait to see the pictures.

For some bizarre reason, I read your post in time to The White Stripe's cover of Burt Bacharach's "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself."

Welcome back!

Hey NYD - jet lag is a bitch. And when you step out of your everyday life for awhile its difficult to get back into a box. Take your time and if something seems off kilter in a big way...take some time to look at that...and take your camera out in the place where you live now. You might find some really cool images pop up from the world around you now. You can fall in love with a place through the lens.

looking forward to seeing your photos when you get to them!

Now I have to go and find that White Stripes tune.

But out of sheer coincidence, I just happened to be listening to "No Excuses" by Alice in Chains, as I read this.

Put in Crimson's "Discipline" in your player and that'll set you straight.

wow....Anonymous is a wise sage.

Welcome home NYD...it's always a bit of a struggle getting back into our everyday when we step outside of our box.

I myself may face a similar challenge after MY trip to NYC in June! I can't wait to see your pictures to inspire me..

Hey there people. Thanks for all the good advice and welcome backs and insight.
The vacation was a blast and of course there must be a return to balance, so God is making me work even harder this week to pay for my liesure.

I will be putting together all my stuff and posting on the morrow.
Look to Tobacco Road for the pic posts. That's where my daily shots and theme stuff will be going.

I will be visiting you all quite soon.

But if you can do SOME of what you want to do, that's a good start.:)

I'm glad you're home safe and sound, hope you had a great time, and am looking forward to some pix. Soon, please!
